At creighton Prep I have found a true home. Coming from a Homeschool background and experiencing going to a school building and having multiple teachers and classmates i am forever grateful that I ended up at Prep. The faculty were welcoming and ready to help me then and for all 4 years I've spent here. I live in a family of 5; I have 2 sisters and both of my parents. Growing up, I wished for a brother. The greatest aspect of Prep are the brothers you find, especially the ones i’ve found as a part of the varsity swim team. As a part the executive boards of Student council and Jay Squads, an organization which helps freshman find their place during their first semester here at Prep, I can confidently day that we have one of the greatest, engaged, and diverse student bodies. My experience with the administration has been very positive. They are constantly making changes to benefit the student body and to make the quality of life here excellent. Honestly, there is no place i’d rather be.
Prep is a great school for boys to become informed men for others. It is a school with great academics that challenges students to think on deeper level and apply their studies. The teachers are pretty good and fair. At times the disciplinary system struggles.
Creighton Prep is a Jesuit school. To some that turns them off. To others it is a big turn on. For me personally, I appreciate the incorporation of Jesuit teaching into life there. I think it does an excellent job preparing students for college academically emotionally and spiritually. Easily worth every penny.
